Anyone know how to wash caulk and oil out of clothes?

Oil: Apply a grease-cutting dish detergent (i.e.: Dawn) to the oil stain and rub vigorously. Allow to sit for a couple of hours then wash in HOT water. Check stain BEFORE putting clothes in dryer (if you put in dryer and the stain is not completely removed, the stain may set in and you will not be able to remove it). If the stain remains after washing, repeat process. Keep in mind that some oil stains are near impossible to remove depending on type and amount of oil. Cooking oil is easier to remove than motor oil, which can stain as well.

Caulk: Remove as much as possible and wash ASAP! Once caulk dries, you can kiss your clothes goodbye. If it has dried, try to peel as much off as possible (but note that it may leave a mark behind as the fibers have absorbed some of the caulk). You may also try to apply ice to the area and ';break off'; pieces, but caulk is quite durable. Good luck!Anyone know how to wash caulk and oil out of clothes?
Start by letting the caulk dry and then picking off as much as you can. Spray brake degrease on the oil and then wipe it off with a clean cloth. After that, fill a sink with hot water, cover the cloths in lanolin (I think that's the name. It's a white jelly product available at automotive stores), put them into the water and scrub vigorously on a washboard and with a hard bristle brush. If you have a death wish, use the cloths washer but your spouse or laundromat owner will beat you to death with a mop if you do. It might be faster to just go shopping for new cloths.Anyone know how to wash caulk and oil out of clothes?

  • Has anyone tried the bodyshop tea tree oil facial wash?

Anyone tried it? Coz I have really bad skin and I want to know if it is worth buying...Has anyone tried the bodyshop tea tree oil facial wash?
yes, I have gotten it. It was really foamy and had a lot of bubbles. I used some water and put it on my face. It totally dried up. My skin wasn't really irritated, because I put some oisturizer on quickly. Also: my zits really aren't/weren't that bad, and it didn't do much. However, I recommend the moisturizer, toner, mask, and wiping sheets:

    moisturizer

Really good, because it doesn't dry out your skin and you can just twist the top, and squeeze a bit out and a little dab is all you need.

    toner

Put a bit on a cotton ball or Q-Tip and dab, dab, dab! Works great. Won't dry skin out if you put it on by itself. Won't really fry skin at all, actually, now that I think about it.

    Mask

Yes! This is great (I'm wearing it right now)! Really cleanses and refreshes. Perfect! Smells really tingly and cool, and nice and fresh, too.

    Wiping Sheets

Great for on the go, in the morning when you've slept late, etc.

I don't have acne on my body (ie. back, tush, etc.) but if I did, these would be perfect.

Overall: The tea tree oil stuff is good for oil, but be sure to moisturize, too. Otherwise, it may dry skin, leaving more problems. This stuff can be a bit pricey, though (in my opinion), so you don't HAVE to get it. Neutrogena, Noxzema, Clearasil, and other cheaper, more generic brands may work just as fine.

I liked the other stuff in the collection, but didn't enjoy the face wash very much. I recommend Neutrogena Visibly Even Foaming Face Cleanser for that step. I've never tried just regular tea tree oil alone, without any added ingredients, though. I can't give you feedback on that one.

I also wouldn't get the face wash if I were you. The other stuff is just fine-if not, great.Has anyone tried the bodyshop tea tree oil facial wash?
that seriously was the best answer! the facewash is awful.. Report Abuse

I actually have! I bought the face wash, the tea tree oil concentrate, and the mask. It's not worth buying... and actually makes your skin more oily. Honestly, it's not worth it. I would totally give you mine, but that's obviously not possible. Good luck with your skin issue! :)
It is worth its weight in gold.

I have the whole kit. Which includes the toner and the quick zap stick.

    Works well.
it worked at first and i thought my skin was clearing up, but then it started to make it drier, and more irritated, which in turn caused my skin to become worse.
I haven't tried it personally, but tea tree oil can dry out the skin. If you're oily, it may make it worse and it may irritate you, but everyone is different. If i were you, I'd goto the bodyshop and ask if they can give you a sample to try at home, if they can't ask them what their return policy is in case you need to return it. You could also check out makeupalley.com where you can trade for one. Hope this helps! :)

It's good actually though acne washes tend to be drying.

Okay has anyone used Tea Tree Oil soap to wash up with and or shave with or both... how'd is work out?

I use it to soothe my acne, and it does work somewhat. I saw on the news a couple years ago that men and boys should not use tea tree products, because it causes increased production of female hormones. On this news story a couple of boys were growing boobs, and it was found that tea tree in their shampoo was the cause!Okay has anyone used Tea Tree Oil soap to wash up with and or shave with or both... how'd is work out?
The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too.

Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'Okay has anyone used Tea Tree Oil soap to wash up with and or shave with or both... how'd is work out?
I used a tea tree oil shampoo to help with dandruff once. It worked wonders for the dandruff but dried the rest of my hair out and was too expensive to keep up with it.

Neutrogena oil free acne wash or Neutrogena oil free acne stress control?

    WHICH ONE???

Do they dry your skin out?

    Do they work?

Do they make you break out(sensitive skin)?Neutrogena oil free acne wash or Neutrogena oil free acne stress control?
I WOULD USE BOTH..TO GET YOUR SKIN CLEAR ALWAYS EXFOLIATE MAYBE EVERY OTHER DAY AND WASH WITH A ACNE WASH..NEUTROGENA WORKS WELL. I JUST STARTED USING THE ACNE STRESS CONTROL AND IT WORKS WONDERS. THE FIRST TIME I USED IT IT STARTED CLEARING UP MY PIMPLES RIGHT AWAY...THE NICE THING ABOUT THE ACNES STRESS IS THAT IT'S 3 IN 1..IT HEALS PIMPLES, PREVENTS NEW ONES AND MOSTURIZES..THAT'S MY 2 CENTS!Neutrogena oil free acne wash or Neutrogena oil free acne stress control?
I use the stress control. It works VERY well. I have sensitive skin, and it doesn't make me break otu at all. It doesn't dry out my skin either. I used acne wash too, but it's a little strong for my face. Unless you have severe acne I wouldn't use that.
Yes I use the oil free acne wash and it really keeps the pimples away!

but for sensitive skin i think that you would need to try somthing else.

Oil free acne wash neutrogena cream or foam cleanser?

i just bought the cream because it came with 6.7 oz and was the same price. is their really any huge noticable difference?Oil free acne wash neutrogena cream or foam cleanser?
no I've tried both and their really isn't a difference between the cream and the foamOil free acne wash neutrogena cream or foam cleanser?
I don't use that brand, but I usually prefer foam cleansers because they tend to be less harsh. I usually Clinique Acne Solutions and it works quite well.
    neutrogena is better!
i have tried both the cream and the cleanser and there is not much a difference between the two. personally i preferred the foam when i used it. however, i use the valence detox slimming anti-aging purification set now
the foam is easier to waash off, so when you are in a hurry you wont have left overs
Honestly, neither. If you're looking for a way to get rid of acne I say use Tea Tree Oil. Tea Tree Oil is one of the fastest methods to get rid of acne. It dries up the pimples in a matter of hours. If you want you can mix Witch Hazel w/ tea tree, it's been found to be very effective.
i use the lancome brand. it works great
i love the foam! it gets everything off with just a half of pump

I have a chevy engine i pullead the intake manifold to find charcoal chunksof burnt oil can i pressure wash?

can i pressure wash the rockers then flip the engine over then pressure wash the rotating assembly? the spray fresh oil on everything put it back together and run itI have a chevy engine i pullead the intake manifold to find charcoal chunksof burnt oil can i pressure wash?
don,t use water. what i do in a case like that is i take a coffee can and fill it with kerosene and use a brush to clean it. you have to change the oil and filter anyway.I have a chevy engine i pullead the intake manifold to find charcoal chunksof burnt oil can i pressure wash?
Just leave it dude....I know it looks terrible but you'll do more damage clogging your oil sump with loose debris from the spraying than by leaving it alone. I've done alot of motor jobs on these chevs and they ';always'; look like this in the lifter valley. My last one was a well looked after 98 5.7L vortec engine that I had to take the intake off of to put it in a van. It was caked with carbon build-up so bad you'd think the motor was shot but I knew it had regular maintenence all it's life. If you have a wet/dry shop vac I would recommend using that over anything else.
