Why did neutrogena oil free acne face wash make my skin extremely puffy?

I have used many other acne washes and never had a problem. Also i have used other products with salicylic acid in it so thats not what did it. I ask this because when I woke up this morning after using the face wash last night my face looked like it had just left a boxing match.. It was so swollen i could barely open my eyes.

sounds like ur allergic to this product, Talk to ur doctor about it next time you go. He can give u proper cream for the acne..
