What is the easiest way to wash Motor Oil off of your car?

I parked in a bad neighborhood and someone splashed oil all over the side of my car.

I tried to wash it off with soap and water, but it is not doing the trick. It is really stuck on there.

Any ideas on what to use that wont ruin my paint would be great. What is the easiest way to wash Motor Oil off of your car?
Use bug and tar remover available at most automotive stores. After you use the bug and tar remover, wash the car good with a rich car wash solution and water. A little wax afterward might be necessary to restore the gloss.

Dish washing soap is highly alkaline and will damage the paint so don't use it.What is the easiest way to wash Motor Oil off of your car?
If it isn't coming off, it isn't motor oil. Motor oil comes off with soap and water.

Find out what it is first before you scrub all the paint off. And do it soon. The more it drys, the harder it become to get it off.

Usually you can use like substance to wash it off. In laundry, you can use vinegar to wash out red wine (wine turns into vinegar if left around too long). So like wise you can try using oil based hand cleaners and then use soap and water to clean off the hand cleaner (2 step).

I used to use a oil based hand cleaner called ';MOJO';. Often auto detailers knows what works best.

Good Luck.
